LCC at HPE Discover Las Vegas
HPE brings together IT professionals from around the world, including partners, sponsors, and thousands of customers for their Discover events. The Lightsource team supported the execution of HPE Discover Las Vegas. Held at the Sands Expo connected to The Venetian | Palazzo, the event was filled with innovative technology, inspiring speakers, and unforgettable entertainment.
The Lightsource team operated the Speaker Check-in room, where we reviewed and edited hundreds of presentations so speakers could feel confident and prepared before addressing audiences. With the assistance of our local extension team and support staff, we provided presenters with peace of mind knowing their reviewed decks would be securely and correctly loaded to their respective presentation locations.
Throughout the four-day conference, we were also able to tour the Transformation Showcase, where HPE and their partners featured their latest developments and hands-on demos. In addition to the business-related content, there was plenty of extra entertainment to enhance the attendee experience. Below you will find some of our favorite highlights. Even with several days of business content, there was still room for fun. Thanks to Disney and HPE, attendees also had complimentary access to The VOID, a next-gen virtual reality experience that allowed players to hear, see, feel, and walk within a Star Wars-themed mission. We sent a few LCC team members to check it out and do their part to save the galaxy.
The HPE Discover Celebration on Wednesday night rounded off the conference, with food and beverages before an electrifying concert by The Chainsmokers.
Before long, HPE Discover Las Vegas ended. Initial feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, so it seems they had as much fun as we did. Our team is grateful to have been a part of making the conference a success, and we’re excited for future HPE events.
