Looking back on 2013

Looking back on 2013

Every year, we are privileged to support several non-profit organizations in our community. Some of our favorite work is for their events and fundraisers. We love sponsoring their efforts and attending these events when possible. As we look back on 2013, here is a look at some of our favorite moments and themes!

Respite Care’s Perennial Lunch

April

Perennial Lunch

The Perennial Lunch is an annual luncheon open to the public, and it is a great way to learn more about Respite Care’s amazing services and the families they benefit. For this year’s theme, we used an octopus to represent all of the caring arms that wrap around the kids at Respite. “Celebrating Lots of Loving Arms” encompasses not only the mission of Respite—providing care—but it represents all of the people involved with Respite: the kids, families, staff, volunteers and donors. We love partnering with Respite and sharing their work with the community!

Pathways Hospice, A Vintage Affair

September

A Vintage Affair Pathways Hospice 2013

A Vintage Affair presented by Wilbur’s Total Beverage has been an annual event for the past 11 years, and despite the flooding around the state of Colorado this year, the re-scheduled night was successful! The evening held classic wine and beer tastings and silent and live auctions to raise over $22,000 for Pathways Hospice! Many other local sponsors contribute to this event as well, and we are always honored to be part of Pathways’ marketing efforts.

The Matthew Shepard Foundation’s Bear to Make a Difference

October

Bear To Make A Difference 2013 MSF

The Bear To Make a Difference Gala celebrates The Matthew Shepard Foundation with a celebrity teddy bear auction and award ceremony. For this year’s event, we added a masquerade mask to the teddy bear event logo. This represents the Foundation’s belief that each of us must “unmask” ourselves, and with pride in our identity, we must share our stories so we can create a society that truly embraces diversity. After working with the Foundation to create their logo in 1999, we’ve been working on the Gala ever since and enjoy assisting such a passionate and purposeful organization!

Respite Care’s Holiday Ball

November

Respite Care Holiday Ball 2013

The Respite Care Holiday Ball always excites our team; we love helping with such an elegant event and for such a worthy cause. This year, the ball raised over $256,000 for Respite Care! Each year, we create the event identity and all of the supporting collateral, including invitations, posters and tags for auction items and signage. An event as sophisticated and important as the Holiday Ball deserves a grand image.

After months of preparation, our team had the pleasure of attending the ball once again. To say the least, we enjoyed the fine dining, auctioneering, and dancing in support of the cause, organization, and group of people who do so much good in our community. We are already looking forward to next year!

Ready for 2014

Beginning early next year, we will start brainstorming for these events again. It never really ends, and we like it that way! Each year we try to make them even bigger and better than the year before. We like to challenge ourselves to come up with new themes and ideas for these events, and the creativity each year helps these organizations generate more excitement for their events.

Do you have a worthwhile project that you need some marketing help with? Maybe we can help you in 2014. We’d like to hear about it! Tell us more here.
